The role

The Planning and Process Assistant at Boohoo plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation and optimisation of business processes. This role involves collecting, organising, and analysing data to inform planning decisions and improve efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies, maintaining clear documentation and providing actionable insights through Excel and other tools. Proactivity and problem-solving are key, as you’ll be tasked with finding practical solutions to challenges while ensuring deadlines are met. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously will make you an essential part of the team, driving success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The team

What you'll be doing
- Data Handling & Analysis: Collect, organise, and analyse data to support planning decisions, process improvements, and performance tracking.
- Excel Reporting: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and tools in Excel to provide visibility into key metrics and operational insights.
- Process Optimisation: Assist in identifying inefficiencies within current processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Support: Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and support ongoing planning and improvement projects.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of processes, workflows, and outcomes to ensure continuity and accuracy across the department.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Support communication with internal stakeholders to align goals, share updates, and address operational challenges.

More about you
- Proven experience in roles involving data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively, whilst being self-driven, motivated, and confident.
- Experience of Power BI is preferred however not essential
