Training & Competency Specialist (Aberdeen)

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Plan, execute and operationalize development programs and processes
- Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
- Work with department manager and SMEs to develop learning programs and training experiences, to help employees increase their capabilities and knowledge needed to grow within the company
- Create content for training plans and development programs for Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations and Sales roles.
- Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to weakness in the training and competency programs.
- Maintain training plans and content to meet changing business objectives
- Actively promote and support the competency program as Competency Advisor
- Work with SMEs to develop competency units to validate employee’s knowledge and skills
- Monitor record and analyze the effectiveness of competency training programs.
- Build positive, collaborative partnerships among process owners, SMEs and peers.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience working in a training role.
- Professional work experience in Competency, Training, Education, and/or Employee development
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Words, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and others)
- Participate and deliver training when required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Passport and ability to travel 15% of the time.
- Carry out all duties safely and in accordance with the Quality & Health, Safety & Environment Policies, procedures, training and instruction. Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area. To be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative.
