Make your mark as Competence & Training Advisor for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. The Competence & Training Advisor is responsible for the supporting and driving the Company to achieve operational excellence in all Global Operations both Onshore and Offshore with our fleet of Diving, ROV & Construction Support Vessels. The role is measured by the ability to provide the business with the means to ensure our employees and contractors are competent and trained to carry out their role and assurance that the Company has the ability to successfully demonstrate Competence of the workforce to standards expected by Boskalis, Industry, Legislation, Regulation and Client expectations.

This position requires a pro-active, pragmatic and positive attitude with the ability to adapt and take accountability for varying workflow volumes and demands. A certain level of autonomy is expected as the teams supported by this role may not always be at the same location.

**Your responsibilities as a Competence & Training Advisor**:
The main accountabilities & responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Support the C&T department in ensuring the effective management of Boskalis Subsea Competence and Learning Management Systems for all Onshore and Offshore Personnel;
- Assists the C&T Manager to drive the development and implementation of key business objectives, initiatives and incremental improvements;
- Lead point of contact for the Offshore Competence Management Program & associated System (Onboard Tracker);
- Lead point of contact for BSS Offshore Trainee Programs (IMCA & OPITO);
- Lead point of contact for Engineering Competency Development Scheme (ECDS) and its ongoing development & maintenance;
- Attend Internal Project meetings to understand client/project requirements and agree actions in a timely manner;
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of all C&T related systems (Onboard Tracker, BSS Training Portal, ECITB Portal);
- Support the development, implementation and effective management of the ECITB Connected Competence Scheme;
- Provide support/direction to C&T members for more complex queries that cannot be handled/addressed at first point of contact;
- Support the C&T Manager during Internal, External and Client Audits and attend Audits on the behalf of Boskalis in the absence of C&T Manager;

**You can make your mark as a Competence & Training Advisor if you have**:

- A proven track record in the same or similar role with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Oil and Gas Industry or a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of the Oil and Gas Industry training & competence requirements including Diving operations, regulations and safety standards.
- Advantageous to have knowledge of ECITB Levy and Initiatives.
- Desirable to hold a recognised Internal Auditor Qualification to ISO 9001:2015 Standards
- Knowledge and experience in training methodologies and learning technologies.
- Advantageous to hold a recognised qualification/training for Competence Assessor and Verifier.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training related management systems/software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stake holders.
- Ability to influence others and build strong working relationships with employees, management & external stake holders.

- Your team: you will join an existing team of four C&T professionals. You will report directly to the Global C&T Manager.
