**Teaching Assistant - Bristol**

Are you looking for a career within Education? Prospero Teaching are looking for teaching assistants to work in Primary schools in north Bristol

Experience within a classroom environment would be advantageous but not essential. Having a current enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service would also be advantageous, if not you will be required to pay for a new DBS before being introduced toschools (£45.80).

**Contract/ Position Details**
- Location: Bristol
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Type of work: Teaching Assistant
- Duration / Likely Duration: Long-term
- Full time/part time: Part time
- Hours: 3 days a week (8:30am-15:30pm) or 5 mornings a week (8:30am-12:00pm)
- Minimum rate of pay: £75 (6 hours) or £50 per day (3.5 hours)

**Experience, training and qualification**:

- Ability to think quickly & without supervision
- Confident when working with small groups or 1 to 1
- Strong behaviour management skills while creating a fun learning environment
- Driven to motivate the pupil and increase their participation
- Be caring, patient and have good communication skills
- Calming mannerisms in challenging situations
- The ability to grow individual personal development
- Willing to complete Safeguarding online training
- Complete a face-to-face registration, currently being done remotely on Zoom

**To Be Eligible For This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional references
