Join Our Team: EYFS Teaching Assistant – Bristol Location: Inclusive Primary School in South Gloucestershire Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible) Hours: Full-time & Part-time roles available Contract Type: Fixed-term & Permanent positions Do you love supporting young children as they take their first steps into education? We’re working with a nurturing primary school in South Gloucestershire to recruit a caring and hands-on EYFS Teaching Assistant. The Reception class has 14 children, including three who require additional support—two with Autism and one with speech and language needs. The school is looking for someone who can offer an extra pair of hands to help manage the classroom and provide focused 1:1 support Your Role Will Include: • Supporting Reception pupils through play-based and structured learning activities• Delivering targeted one-to-one and small group interventions• Encouraging communication, independence, and social development• Assisting pupils with Autism and speech/language needs to access learning effectively • Helping with classroom organisation, displays, and admin tasks What We’re Looking For: • A warm, patient, and flexible approach to working with children aged 4–5• Strong communication and collaboration skills• Experience supporting children in EYFS or with SEND – desirable • Level 2 or 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification – a plus, but not essential What You’ll Get: • A weing and inclusive school environment• Ongoing training and professional development opportunities• The chance to make a meaningful impact on children’s early learning and wellbeing •petitive salary based on experience and qualifications
