CDM Specialist - Energy Sector
£40,000 - £48,000 + Benefits
My client is a market leading Energy business, operating and maintaining a distribution network that delivers to millions of homes and businesses across the UK.Due to a period of sustained growth, they are looking to recruit a CDM Specialist to join the team.
The role of CDM Specialist will see you provide a range of guidance and advice on CDM across the network, developing and building processes, and then carrying out assurance work to ensure compliance.Projects are a mixture of reactive and planned works, rangingfrom repairs and maintenance through to new build projects.You will be working with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, engaging, influencing and ensuring accountability for best CDM practice across the network.The role covers a Geographicalarea from Beds / Bucks to the East of England
The role of CDM Specialist will suit someone with the following skills / experience:

- NEBOSH General / Construction (or equivalent)
- Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations
- Construction experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, able to thrive in an autonomous hybrid role
- Full driving license

A basic salary of between £40-48k is on offer for the CDM Specialist role, along with a fantastic corporate benefits package and pension scheme.There is the possibility of a company car, although you would need to do over 7000 miles a year to qualify, whichit’s not thought you would do in this role.Alternatively, you will be paid 45ppm for use of your own vehicle for business use.
