Pyramid8 is working in partnership with a Yorkshire based charity, that works with a variety of individuals in the local area that assists homeless adults with accommodation and support. As the portfolio of housing expands, we are looking for a Housing Assessorto join the team on a 6-month contract.

You will be aware of different agencies and work with them to deal with housing referrals and ensure criteria and expectations are being met. You will meet with each potential resident and ask probing and sometimes difficult questions, to ensure a thoroughand accurate assessment is completed. A decision will then be made as to whether they are a suitable person for housing and in which area, and what additional support may be required.

As expected, you will have a genuine passion for helping others, with a supportive nature. It’s essential that you have been a Housing Assessor previously and worked with vulnerable adults.

To be considered, you will have a full UK driving licence, so you can travel to different hubs in the Leeds area. This position is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, however we can also consider reduced hours such as 10am to 4pm or different variants to suit.The salary for this position is £24K, with potential for a permanent opportunity once the 6-month contract ends.
