**The Role**

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a **Credit Controller** to join our Accounts Team on a full-time permanent basis, based in our Nutts Lane site, Hinckley. You will be part of a small team where you will be responsiblefor collecting and chasing payments for our Trade Division, and you will report to the Head of Finance.

Typical duties for our **Credit Controller** include:

- Chase outstanding debt for trade accounts, ensuring debts are collected in a timely manner.
- Liaising with banks for payments and the managing the allocation of payments.
- Update overdue debtor list and cash collected list
- Send out invoices with relevant documentation.
- Raise credit notes along with manage sign offs and allocation
- Run CPA reports on new customers
- Set up new customers and chase customer letters
- Create and update and manage credit/debt lists and retention lists
- Manage rebates
- Reconcile sales ledger customer accounts
- Monitor deliveries v credit limits v stop list
- Enforce ROT
- Prepare payment requests
- Work with invoice discounting manager
- Collect cash from pro forma accounts

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a **Credit Controller**, or other relevant experience gained within a finance /accounts-based role. You must have strong PC skills including Word and Excel, and have excellentattention to detail.

As this is a fast-paced role within a busy accounts team, proactive team player abilities, and the ability to organise workload priorities are pre-requisites.

The work pattern for this role is 9-5pm, Monday to Friday, however you will be flexible and willing to work additional hours on an occasional and adhoc basis.
