**Responsibilities of our **Technical Services Assistant**:

- Responding to all customer complaints as detailed in the Customer Care Protocol.
- Providing information to the QA Team for detailed investigations into customer complaints
- Improving system projects as required in collaboration with Data Specialist
- Supporting Technical Services specialist with the completion of customer technical information requests and questionnaires
- Maintaining product information databases both internal and external
- Ensuring raw material and packaging specifications are updated at least every three years or more frequent if required.
- Maintaining and updating all Technical & Quality Noticeboards
- Updating internal communications with weekly complaints information.
- Providing trend analysis of internal contaminants and communicate emerging trends to QA Manager so action can be taken.
- Covering taste panels in the absence of the taste panel coordinator (complaints will be covered by the Data Specialist)
- Supporting the creation and publication of all technical reports
- Supporting NPD activities and assist with relevant documentation.

**Experience required of our **Technical Services Assistant**:

- Food manufacturing knowledge
- Excellent IT skills (Excel and Word primarily and has the ability to learn/use other systems e.g. iAuditor)
- Good data analytical skills
- Experience in report writing

**Skills required of our **Technical Services Assistant**:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- A good relationship builder.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and keep information confidential.
