Working in Headstart Residential Care Children’s Homes means being an integral part of a young person’s day to day life.

Our homes accommodate young autistic people, who can have a range of additional needs and previous experiences. Our vision is to create the best possible outcome for the young people in our care. This is all made possible because our service is holistic, therapeutic and caters for our young people’s developmental needs. Our home and therapeutic team help to holistically support our young people by weaving together all aspects of SEND provision.

Senior Residential Support Worker ( Senior Mentor) role:
At Headstart Residential Care, our dedicated team takes care of our young people day to day, ensuring their well-being, happiness, and growth. We believe in creating not just a care facility but a home where lasting memories are made. Here's how we make each day special. Our Senior Mentors are involved in taking specific responsibilities and key worker roles of a young person including casework, report writing, developing 24-hour management plans, risk assessments and activity planners. You will work as part of a the team to ensure the correct support is in place for the young person you are responsible for.

Annual Salary: Base salary of £29,120 (40 Hours a week) to £37,440 (48 Hours a week)

Renumeration Package:
£500 welcome bonus (After completing the 6-month probation)

£500 loyalty bonus (After completing 12-months service following a successful probation)

£80 per sleep.

Training: A full 4-week induction as well as specialised training

Holiday: 5.6 Weeks

Progression: Training suited to your needs and interests.

Wellbeing: a host of wellbeing tools and advice including employee assistance

Here's what we're looking for from you:

- If you do not have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, we will fund this professional growth, but we would desire this as a qualification needed to fulfill the position and duties.
- A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months
