Calibre Search are delighted to be working alongside a growing and ambitious Property Developer based near Doncaster who are now looking to add an Quantity Surveyor to their technical in-house projects team.

You will be working closely with the Technical Director and Senior QS assisting and delivering on numerous sites across the North of England which will involve converting old factories/mills into high profile luxury apartment and office blocks as you will befirst hand in the design and build process.

Quite a new team so you will play a pivotal role in helping this team develop further down the line and have quite a say in how the team grows offering an integral position to be fast tracked for your career progression.

This Developer really offer a niche and family orientated feel so no need for red tape at all whilst having all the benefits of excellent company benefits and the freedom and trust to deliver these projects in your own way.
Ideally you will have post degree experience working within a consultancy or Contractor led organisation working towards your APC. They will also consider Senior level Quantity Surveyors and the package will reflect your level accordingly.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with issuing tender enquiries, taking off drawings and producing BoQ's.
- Regular visits to live sites to assess subcontractor progress and agree valuations.
- Produce cost and value reports for each project and update in connection with costs to date on a monthly basis - including forecast final account.
- Attend pre-let meetings with Project Manager and proposed contractors to liaise on upcoming projects and agree details of subcontract order.
- Analyse returned tenders and complete cost comparisons prior to procurement.
- Track change management on projects and assess costs associated, obtaining quotes for additional works.
- Work with the Technical Director and other members of the team to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.

**Skills Required**:

- Good Knowledge of the JCT Contracts
- Full Driving Licence and prepared to travel sites across the North and Midlands.
- Knowledge/previous experience working via a Consultancy would be beneficial
- Professional approach to work with a friendly, positive attitude
- Flexibility is required to respond to change that occurs within a fast-moving business
