Job Summary

Stable Scaffolding Ltd are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis located in Doncaster. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the costs and financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget. There will be genuine progression with this role.

Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost to complete, payment applications and budgets for construction projects.
  • Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals to discuss project requirements and progress.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.

Requirements

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
  • An understanding as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of CIS and cost control principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
