**The Role**:
We are looking for a dedicated **Kitchen Porter** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining hygiene, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the smooth running of our kitchen. You’ll play a key role in providing high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with food preparation and beverage services.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and dining areas.
- Heavy lifting and transportation of food, deliveries, and stock.
- Handle cash/card payments and keep accurate sales records.
- Follow food safety and allergen legislation, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Promote excellent customer service and communication.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including vending and coffee machines.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete relevant documentation (HAACP, temperature logs).
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Willingness to obtain Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification and Manual Handling training within four weeks of starting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
