**RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)**

We're looking for a new full time team member to join the already amazing team at our flagship store at Trentham Shopping Village, Stoke on Trent.

If you are an experienced retail sales assistant who’s outgoing and enthusiastic and passionate about running and cycling (especially cycling) and you're keen to share your passion by contributing to the delivery of a world class customer experience, then we want to hear from you.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of cycling and bicycles in general, and show a keen interest in our full range of cycling and running products, and if you excel at achieving face to face sales you might just be the person we're looking for.

**Job Details**:
**Annual leave** entitlement will be 28 days per annum inclusive of bank holidays.

As part of a small team, resilience, commitment reliability and flexibility are essential.

**Salary Expectations**:
Starting salary will be £19,760 per annum (£9.50/hr).

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Greet clients with enthusiasm and establish rapport to quickly and efficiently identify their needs
- Demonstrate appropriate products instore and seek out opportunities to upsell and cross sell where possible
- Close sales and promote after sales services
- Collaborate with the workshop's maintenance team to advise customers on general day to day bike care, promote available repair and maintenance packages, recommend accessories, etc
- Undertake gait analysis using state of the art equipment and advise customers on appropriate products to meet their individual requirements
- Maintain shop floor displays and stock storage areas
- Other store duties as directed by the store manager.

**Essential**:

- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Great communication skills
- Keen cyclist with knowledge of bicycle care and basic maintenance
- Able to create a great impression by acknowledging and approaching customers who come into our store with enthusiasm.
- Be a team player, self-motivated and able to use own initiative.

**Desirable**
- A passion for running and cycling and enthusiastic about the products we sell.
- A good level of product knowledge
