Our showroom is the heart of our business - a place where customers come to find inspiration and solutions. We’re looking for a proactive, personable, and tech-savvy Showroom Assistant to report to our Showroom Manager and help us create the best possible experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers in the showroom, offering guidance and product knowledge to help them find the perfect lighting solutions
- Create your own client base and form solid relationships with them (building rapport & maintaining relationships)
- Excellent written, verbal, online and telephone communication skills
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing showroom
- Manage sales transactions and negotiate deals where appropriate
- Support social media and marketing efforts (e.g., posting content, responding to messages)
- Assist in maintaining and updating the company website
- Use Photoshop and other tools to edit images for online use preferable
- Handle general paperwork and admin tasks
- Manual lifting, booking goods in and organising stockroom
- Ability to visualise new displays and action the changes

**Requirements**:

- Previous retail or customer-facing experience (2 years preferred)
- Good knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Experience with website management or content updates (e.g., Shopify, WordPress)
- Basic Photoshop skills (image editing, resizing, etc.)
- Comfortable negotiating and closing deals
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help with cleaning and showroom upkeep
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently and in a 1 on 1 environment
- Excellent time keeping and attendance (paramount)

**Bonus Skills (not essential but a plus)**:

- An interest in interior design or lighting
- Photography or video editing experience
- Visual merchandising skills

**Hours of work**

9am - 5.30pm and 5pm Saturday

You will receive a day off in the week and every Sunday

Pay: £12.21-£12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
