Your role as Junior Buyer will be as diverse as our restaurant portfolio. You will support the team with all Purchasing requirements, spanning food, beverage, non-food and overheads. The team is small and dynamic and we are looking for someone with high energy and a can-do attitude.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Work with the Purchasing team to deliver the group purchasing strategy
- Work across food and non food categories
- Support the Head of Purchasing and Buyer with day to day tasks
- Be the Purchasing lead for menu development and roll out, including recipe testing, sourcing, costing, and delivery
- Source suppliers and products, managing product listings and supplier onboarding
- Reduce cost of goods by negotiating with suppliers and using commercial acumen and creative thinking to identify new cost saving opportunities
- Manage supplier relationships including negotiating, evaluating performance, and ensuring your suppliers conform to group technical and supply chain requirements
- Liaise with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing teams

Skills and Experience required for the role:

- Degree level educated
- Related experience in the Hospitality sector
- Experience in supplier management
- Strong communicator
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
