We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Engineerto join the team at our state-of-the-art facility near Coventry or our offices based within the Liverpool Science Park.

With expert knowledge of automation and robotics systems, you will develop technologies relating to safety system and robot programming.You will lead project technical deliverables, taking ownership to ensure work meets the agreed customer requirements andwill ensure the delivery is on time and withinbudget. In this hands-on role, you will undertake innovative Engineering research work focused primarily on technology/manufacturing readiness levels (TRL/MRL) 3+, and able to demonstrate industrial project delivery.A proven leader, you will feel comfortable taking ownership of specific projects and managing a team, ensuring that individuals continue to develop their own skills and advance the team’s knowledge

We’re looking for a confident communicator who can liaise with customers and create concept designs of automation solutions. You will take each project from the initial conception through to commissioning robotics/automation cells and equipment on site.You will be able to design and develop robotic and automation technologiesand willdemonstrateexpertise in automation product development and will be accustomed to delivering research projects. With line management experience, you will understand the importanceof mentoring individuals to ensure that the team continues to thrive and work with developing technologies.
