Our client is an international sports betting and gaming brand in over 120 countries worldwide and powered in-house by an industry leading sportsbook provider. They have highly ambitious plans, and is now looking for a Country Executive Director to managetheir brand to establish the business in the local market, both operationally and from a marketing and supporting perspective.
As Country Executive Director, you will develop and implement effective strategies to meet and exceed the company objectives & goals at the market level. You will be responsible for developing the UK market including market strategy, product, customer acquisition,and retention. You will have overall responsibility for the UK territory - P&L, building relationships, making deals, agreements, seeking marketing, and partner opportunities. High-level knowledge of the market and the ability to give feedback to product andmarketing teams are also vital for this position.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Plan for business expansion in the region developing a thorough market positioning strategy Establish acquisition marketing activities across the market in cooperation with the acquisition and marketing teams
- Build strong relationships with third-party digital brands to increase brand partnership opportunities
- Interpret business and marketing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and report back to the business with results and learnings
- Optimize the presentation and promotion of the website and the products as per the market to ensure maximum player volume (localization of the product)
- Ensuring that all communication with players is in line with the UK Regulatory requirements
- Set SMART objectives and define KPIs considering how to achieve a positive ROI on group campaigns in line with business goals
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience in the gaming or related industry with provable success in comparable roles.
- Demonstrable track record in strategic planning and project management
- Analytical ability and understanding of profit/loss profiles
- Experience in acquiring customers and growing businesses, as well as in delivering profitable Acquisition marketing campaigns with ambitious CPA and ROI parameters
- Ability to set & review individual objectives through a structured personal development plan Experience in digital and offline marketing
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of any other language is an advantage
- Self-starter with strong leadership skills who likes to take full ownership and invest in team member development
- High level of flexibility and adaptability to manoeuvre in a very dynamic environment
