Garden Centre Sales Assistant

A friendly, outgoing and reliable Plantarea Sales Assistant is required at our Bennybeg Plant Centre near Crieff. We sell a wide range of gardening, home, gift and clothing items; however, garden plants and trees constitute a very significant part of our business and are the main reason why most customers come to us.
This is a customer facing role, so you should enjoy meeting people and providing an excellent level of service.
Good plant knowledge, which may come from a keen interest in gardening, or formal qualifications in horticulture, is preferred, but we are also happy to consider less experienced individuals who are looking to pursue a career in horticulture. A flair for attractive and creative displays is a definite advantage.
A willingness to work outdoors, maintain high standards of merchandising and an ability to handle pressure during our very busy peak months is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to take on an exciting role in the ongoing growth and development of a successful, independently owned business. Our company also owns Jamesfield Garden Centre near Abernethy.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
