**Teaching / Class Support Assistant - SEN**

Looking for new opportunities in SEN education? Wanting a role where each day is different? Passionate about child development and making a difference to the lives of young people? We are recruiting positive and resilient individuals to work with autisticchildren of varying ages and abilities. You will have the chance to play a significant role in the daily care and development of each child.

**Salary: £17,510** per annum FTE based on 34.75 hours. **You will also receive a £1,000 bonus upon joining.**

**Hours**: Full and part time working is available between Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 4.30pm (minimum of 9.00am - 4.00pm on any day worked)

**Holiday**: Term time working only - 44 days school holiday plus Bank Holidays

**This role involves**
- Supporting morning and lunch break duties, supervising play or snacks
- Assisting educational trips from horse-riding to swimming
- Preparing materials for lessons and pupil programmes
- Supporting academic progress, working alongside our teaching team

- Positive, enthusiastic and fun
- Happy to lend a hand wherever needed
- Caring and nurturing
- Comfortable supporting others with personal/intimate care (toileting, feeding)
- Resilient when faced with behaviours that challenge
- Your own transport or access to a lift is necessary due to location
- Formal experience is not essential as the school is committed to staff development and will help you to develop skills and expertise you need. _
