Job title: Oversight Governance Manager
Location: London
Duration: 12 months initially
The Role:
Oversight Governance Management is principally responsible for ensuring the best Governance & control environment for the department by owning and optimising all elements of controls ensuring the department adheres to all standards, tracking and reporting oftheir findings.

**Responsibilities**:

- To adhere to the department's governance strategy in line with corporate & regulatory standards.
- Monitor and encourage best practice and consistency with the completion of oversight meetings by the various UK teams.
- To assist IT, Risk and Operational resiliency teams in sharing information and best practices while also providing local support to managers as they perform their Access Rights 1st Line of Defense responsibilities.
- To take ownership of inter department Service Level Description's (SLD's), managing the completion and additional oversight reviews for content.
- Manage the deliverables documented within Oversight governance tracker to completion through effective coordination and escalation if necessary.
- As required support & lead for UK Fund Accounting Department wide initiatives to help the department meet the Corporate Priorities
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP) assistance for UKFA ensuring all annual commitments are met and all policies are up to date including the any operational changes.
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of all disaster recovery and transfer of work testing events. This involves coordination between outsourced jurisdictions to ensure testing, training, Tabletop exercises are scheduled and implemented with mínimaldisruption to the business.
- Document the resiliency strategies, along with testing results and any changes made to the Operational resiliency Framework in a timely manner.
- Pro-active engagement and partnership across all geographic regions and offices.
- Oversee the oversight due diligence of the outsources locations and ensure completion of any outstanding action points following these discussions.
- Building relationships to continuously improve understanding of requirements and expectations on UK Fund Accounting.
- Recognise / promote / communicate / reward within the operational teams
**Requirements**:

- Ability and appetite to gain an understanding of Fund Accounting (NAV and Financial Reporting)
- Project management skills
- Previous exposure to, and comfort with, dealing with senior management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly articulate with excellent communication (written, verbal, listening) skills
- Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficient
- Good networking contacts and abilities
- Methodical, measured and thoughtful
- Ability to present and motivate
- Excellent organisational skills
