This provides an exciting opportunity to further your career with exposure to US accounting,auditing and reporting in an exciting International setting. There has been rapid growth in the divisions US market activity over the past few years including IPOs, SPACs and M+A activity.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Assist the foreign filing review partner on SEC periodic filings and registration statements of SEC issuers and prospective SEC issuers in connection with their IPO and SPAC transactions.
- Take a lead and manage the reviews on a day-to-day basis of US debt and equity offerings, including the comfort letter process, interacting with underwriters and their lawyer.
- Monitor the PCAOB current and proposed standards, and asses the potential impact on the business's UK processes assessing the audit tools and their methodology compared to ISA's.
- Deliver training to update audit professionals that are working on audit engagements that involve PCAOB, US GAAP and SEC matters.
- Coach the UK-based audit teams acting as an expert in technical accounting and audit matters.
- **Your Profile**_
- At minimum of five years conducting audits under PCAOB standards and leading the audit team of a large accelerated SEC filer.
- A high performer in their current role.
- Highly knowledgeable in SEC, rules and regulations, including US independence matters.
- Well versed in US GAAP and PCAOB auditing standards, prior PCAOB inspection experience is a plus.
- Knowledgeable with regards to IFRS and International Standards of Auditing.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
- A qualified US Certified Public Accountant or equivalent is a plus, but not required
