Our client is a market leading Financial Technology (FinTech) business with a truly global footprint who are going through an exciting period of development. They’re currently seeking to bring a talented Finance Director into their organisation who has ahighly commercial mindset to support the leadership of the Group FP&A Function.

**Overview**

The Group Financial Planning and Analysis team in the business is changing and they’re looking for a highly motivated, intellectually inquisitive person to join the team to work closely with senior stakeholders to drive Group level insight and guidance.

The role has three broad focus areas:

- Interaction with Group Human Resources team around providing insight to facilitate setting, tracking, and reporting on Group bonus and long-term incentive plans including supporting the derivation of materials for the Group remuneration committee.
- M&A - The Group is highly inquisitive and has an active slate of acquisitions and disposals. This role will have key interactions with Group Strategy, Deal Teams, Business teams and Senior Leadership in understanding the implications of M&A activity onGroup performance over the short, medium, and long-range periods regarding Group P&L performance down to adjusted earnings per share (EPS).
- Special Projects - A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to be a key member of teams on special projects as and when they arise across the Group. The nature and breadth of these projects are wide and varied and result from the positioning of thisrole in Group finance team which has a unique view of business performance across the entire organisation.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**
- Partner with the Group Reward team to ensure close alignment and understanding of key Group remuneration decisions or actions around bonus and long-term incentive plans. This will include modelling financial assumptions, and associated scenario analysisto support decision making at Group Executive and Board level remuneration committee levels.
- Build and maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of the M&A pipeline, knowing when deals are likely to close, and the associated impact on financial performance, both retrospective and forward looking to enable delivery of meaningful management informationto the Group Executive team, Investor Relations and other key stakeholders. This will include modelling of Group performance down to EPS.
- Work with stakeholders across the Group to participate in special projects. With operations in over 100 countries, the nature of these projects is varied, but will typically include financial modelling and the ability to provide a range of scenarios. Fromtime to time this aspect of the role will require working with external advisors to help interpret Group performance or direct them accordingly. This aspect of the role is ad-hoc, can be faced paced, and requires a broad understanding of the group and abilityto reach into a well-established network of contacts across the organisation.

- Group Human Resources (Reward), Group Finance, Group Strategy, Investor Relations and Divisional Finance teams

**Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies**
- Professional Finance Qualification - e.g. MBA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with likely minimum of 8-10 years post-qualified experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to grasp and distil complex issues into simple key messages to provide powerful insights to the Executive team and Board level.
- Excellent financial modelling skills and ability to work with large data sets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Collaboration skills to partner effectively with various teams and across functions of the business (Finance and Non-finance).
