**Job Summary**

Active Day Camps are recruiting a cache level 3 to join are small team of 9 Full-Time members. We are really excited to welcome a Early Years expert into our ranks, who is able to improve the quality of our provisions, in the school term at an after-school club (nursery) and be our Early Years manager at our EYS venue, Marlborough Primary School during the holidays.

This part-time role is split into term time:
After-school: 3:15 - 5:45pm (2.5hrs per day) approx 34 weeks per year - POSTCODE: N1 3AQ

Holidays: 09:00 - 5:00pm approx 12 weeks per year. POSTCODE SW3 3AP.

**Role Overview**:
The Early Years Manager is responsible for overseeing activities and care for young children (ages 3-5) at our holiday camp. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and educational environment that meets each child's developmental needs and supports the camp’s overall mission.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Development**: Design age-appropriate activities that support learning, creativity, and physical activity.
- **Supervision & Safety**: Lead a team of early years staff, maintaining safety and compliance with child welfare guidelines.
- **Parent Communication**: Engage with parents to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with their child’s experience.
- **Team Training**: Mentor and train early years staff in best practices for early childhood care and engagement.
- In **term-time** work with our partner school, to offer a really good after-school club - sticking to our diverse timetable and building a rapport with children, parents and the school.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
- Experience managing early childhood programs or similar environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

**Qualifications**
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives within the educational framework.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through play-based learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £20,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 12.5 - 35 per week
