**The Role**

Carry out vehicle inspections as per the Customers requirements, which will include inspections at customers places of work, home addresses, vehicle compounds and BCA sites

**Key skills/qualities**
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
- Must have held a full current driving licence for at least 2 years
- Able to communicate with colleagues and customers

**Preferred experience / skills**:

- Knowledge of motor vehicle specifications.
- Basic mechanical / Bodyshop experience.
- Computer skills
- Have a knowledge of motor vehicle auctions process.
- Experience within the Motor Industry desirable but not essential as full training will be given

**Main Responsibilities**
- Identifying body and trim damage, which falls outside the customer’s requirements.
- Have the ability to decide the most suitable repair method to rectify identified damage
- All inspections are carried out using Hand Held inspection technology which uses a windows based system
- Carry out vehicle imaging as per the customers requirements
- Have the ability to undertake, organise and carry out your inspection schedule on a day-to-day basis
- Handle all Inspection equipment in a safe and proper manner.
- Provide a professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Liaise closely with Senior Inspector and maintain day-to-day contact with Inspections Office.
- Remain up-to-date on vehicle specifications and Customer inspection requirements.
- Ensure a safe driving standard is maintained at all times.
- Take care and responsibility of your company vehicle and all vehicles in your care, reporting immediately any accidents.
- Ensure that all operations are carried out within Health and Safety guidelines.

**Additional Information**:
The vehicle inspection activities are almost exclusively undertaken outdoors. This means the jobholder necessarily spends most of their time exposed to all weather conditions

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
