**About the Opportunity**

Jacobs Nuclear is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. PPP is delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.

Jacobs Nuclear provides the front end design and engineering capability across the PPP portfolio. Being part of the PPP Team offers a unique opportunity to drive change and innovation in engineering, safety and delivery solutions in one of the most complex industrial sites in the UK if not the world. We are looking for people who are passionate about developing themselves and in meeting new challenges.

The Sludge Handling and Export Plan (SH&EP) is required to enable the treatment of mobile sludge, stored in SPP1, but originating from FGSMP, into a form suitable for long-term storage and disposal.

We have an opportunity for a EC&I Designer to support the CE&I Responsible and Lead Engineers in delivery of the project’s CE&I design deliverables. This will involve the production of CE&I design deliverables e.g. Single Line Diagrams, Cable Routing drawings, Layout drawings etc using AutoCAD and Aveva Electrical design software.

Responsibilities will include;
- Produce CE&I design deliverables that underpin the design.
- Coordinate space management within the building and with other disciplines using the project 3D space management software.
- Support and advise the CE&I Design Team and other disciplines, on all aspects of CE&I design tasks for the project to enable a successful outcome
- Assist the Responsible and Lead Engineers in reporting progress against the project schedule.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- ONC / OND minimum
- Background experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery including recent positions involving the d7elivery of CE&I design works
- CE&I key deliverables e.g. SLDs, BCDs, Cable routing, Cable Calculations, layout drawings etc.
