We have an exciting opportunity for an EC&I Senior Designer based in Warrington, working within the nuclear industry.

This role can be worked on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home. There will also be infrequent site visits or travel to other offices.

Candidates can start with BPSS security clearance whilst higher level clearance is being undertaken. You should be British Citizens and passport holders, and not have worked outside the UK during the past 5 years.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The EC&I Senior Designer will provide a full design service and the role will involve developing and delivering EC&I design solutions in response to problem definitions and project functional specifications from the Client.

Working within the current EC&I Design Team to deliver designs against the schedule and support meeting key delivery milestones.

Support plant configuration walk downs to confirm and accurately record task baseline details for the production of outline design schemes.

Attend Design Reviews to support the RE in presentation of design documentation.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a competent and proven EC&I Design Engineer, capable pf producing designs, schemes, drawings and supporting calculations.

Knowledge and experience of producing both instrumentation and electrical designs.

Previous experience producing design packages, suitable for manufacture and installation, containing drawings, method statements, risk assessments etc.

Production of design drawings in AutoCAD.

Degree in relevant engineering discipline with at least 2- 3 years design delivery experience OR other qualification such as BTEC, HNC, HND, with 5 - 8 years design delivery experience.
