**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a Tutor to provide specialist SEN GCSE support to a student who is without a school placement. The tutor will be required to assess the students' current ability and then work closely with them to plan and deliver 1:1 tailoredlessons to bridge the gaps in the pupils' education.

The young person is a year 11 student in the Eastbourne area, and support is required to take place in the young persons home. We are looking for a tutor to start as soon as possible, so would therefore require the tutor to have a current DBS on the updateservice, as well as two childcare related references covering the last two years.

- Type of work - Ongoing
- Start date - ASAP
- Minimum rate of pay - from £25 per hour (negotiable)
- Hours - 15- 20 hours a week, 3-5 hours a day

**Experience, Training and Qualifications**:

- QTS or equivalent
- Possess UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

**To be eligible for this role, the potential SEN GCSE Tutor**:

- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Provide two professional child-related references.
