Job description Prospero Teaching are seeking fantastic and experienced SEN Tutors in and around Eastbourne (specifically in BN20 and BN21). As a Tutor, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Record student progress and report on this weekly. Be understanding, empathetic and patient. Record attendance. Be organised, dependable and creative. About you: Nurturing and caring nature Patient, kind and understanding Strong understanding of the National Curriculum Organised Position – TutorContract or position start date – ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) – N/AFull time/part-time – Multiple positions availableHours – Variable-Multiple positions available Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles. To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
