Have you recently qualified and now looking to step up into a Finance Manager position working for a high profile, fast growing UK retail brand in Leeds?
This is fantastic opportunity for a newly (or 6-12 months PQE) qualified management accountant to join this fast paced, high growth retail SME with Head Offices based in East Leeds
The role is newly created and will work as part of a small team in an end to end Finance Manager position offering ownership, variety and end to end exposure of the accounts, reporting directly to the Finance Director.
The role would be ideally suited to someone ambitious and career driven on the upward trajectory of their career, looking to join an exciting Leeds based brand as they continue on their growth journey
Some of the key duties of the role will include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Effective management of Balance Sheet via accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of the weekly cashflow forecast
- Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
- Coordination of the year end audit
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Liaise with outsourced payroll partner every month
- Maintain a strong control environment
- Ad hoc financial and commercial analysis
- Be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA - Essential
- Have previous experience in a management accountant role - Essential
- Have previously worked in retail/e-commerce - Highly desirable
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with and influence non finance stakeholders - Essential
