Finance Operations Manager

HW Finance are pleased to be supporting a global group in their search for a Finance Operations Manager to join the team in Leeds.About the role:This is a newly created position, due to recent team restructure, and is responsible for overseeing all transactional finance, reporting to the CFO. Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a transactional finance team (2 direct reports, total team of 8)Manage client invoicing and supplier payment runs, with a focus on cash flow and controlEnsure timely and accurate month end and year end close processesMaintain banking relationshipsInfluence and collaborate across departments to ensure alignmentDrive continuous improvement and efficienciesInvolvement in systems updates and implementations About You:Progressive experience in finance operations or accountingProven leadership experience of transactional teams Strong attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced Excel and reporting toolsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsProactive and process-improvement orientedWhat’s on offer:Salary c£50k (dependent on experience)Hybrid working (1-2 days a week)Leeds city centre officesFlexible and friendly office cultureApply now to become a valued member of the finance team.
