Envirosafe Consultants is a leading Northwest-based Safety, Health and Environment Consultancy which offers a range of SHE services across multiple industries.
**Safety, Health and Environment Admin Support**
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic SHE admin professional to join our fast-paced team. You will be pivotal in delivering a range of SHE services to clients from a broad range of industry sectors playing a key role in identifying risks and developing and delivering tailored solutions. Writing reports based on our SHE auditors statutory compliance findings will be a large component of this role.
This role is predominately office based.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide a front desk service (actual and virtual) through which you will be the first point of call to answer queries and provide a triage service to determine where the enquiry or issue should be progressed to.
- To provide support to the SHE Advisers to ensure core functions and processes that support business development are delivered effectively and meet the needs of the organisation.
- Provide a support and progression function to enable enquiries to be progressed through to delivery and successful outcome.
- To have a good understanding of the portfolio of products and services available from Envirosafe.
- To input accurately and maintain data from both manual and IT record systems and present information in the form of reports in accordance with statutory, regulatory and professional requirements.
- Responsibility for maintaining our clients risk registers, and to ensure they are maintained regularly.
- Maintain the calendars and diary of events and meetings as required.
- To communicate effectively with colleagues, organisations and other external stakeholders in both written and verbal methods always providing a customer-focused service.
- To contribute to continuous process improvement activities including assisting with the development of new processes as required.
- As appropriate to the post, keep up-to-date with policies and regulations of the Company.
- Carry out basic risk assessments for client portfolio.
- Produce detailed SHE inspection reports based on SHE Advisers findings across the company client portfolio.
- Assist the SHE Advisers / Consultants in fulfilling the requirement of SHE legislation.
- To work closely across the SHE Department team to encourage a team based, cohesive and proactive SHE services provision.
Any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to and commensurate with the level of responsibility as determined by the line manager.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Experience of responsibility for SHE compliance administration.
- Producing Safety & Health reports
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and staff.
- Preparation and presentation of technical reports.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage own and other workloads in a high-pressure environment.
