Location: PrestonHours: Monday–Friday About the Company Due to continued growth and significant investment into the Preston site, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead and enhance the HSE / SHE culture. The Role As the Environmental Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of all HSE activities on site. You will act as the key driver for fostering a positive, compliant, and proactive safety culture, ensuring that environmental responsibilities and safety standards are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and continuously improve the site’s health, safety, and environmental systems and culture. Ensure full compliance with UK HSE legislation, environmental regulations, and company policies. Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Develop and deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety communications. Work closely with site leadership, operational teams, and external bodies to maintain best practice. Support ongoing investment projects by advising on safety and environmental requirements. Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site. About You Proven experience in an EHS, HSE, SHE, or similar managerial role within a FMCG or Food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation. Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills. A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to embed and elevate safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
