We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cashier to join our team in Manchester. This is a hybrid role with one/two days a week in the office.

**What will you be doing?**

You will be responsible for completing bank and reconciliation activities for the Ireland platform. Typical activities will include:

- Completing daily cash reconciliations between the bank and customer payment transactions recorded on the operational platform
- Interrogating transactional data to identify any actions required with regards to unreconciled transactions
- Working closely with the Ireland Operations team to resolve any unreconciled items in a timely manner
- Processing bank payments in line with internal policies
- Preparing daily client reporting of reconciliations and bank transactions, and supporting the delivery against other client SLAs
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators
- Dealing with complex queries from external clients, and internal stakeholders, and maintaining good relationships with these parties
- Maintaining the bank ledger and recording transactions accurately in D365
- Preparing bank reconciliations for the Ireland platform
- Ensuring that process documents are accurately maintained and kept up to date
- Providing support to the wider team in respect of ad-hoc reporting and analysis, when required

**Is this you?**
- Experience in completing high transactional volume bank reconciliations and processing payments
- Strong Excel skills to include pivot tables and v lookups
- Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent
- Ability to turn around tasks efficiently and accurately
- Confident to work in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Experience in working to tight deadlines
- Strong team player
