**Accounts Administrator/PA**

This role is in a well established and diversified group of companies with a family farming heritage based in Anslow, Burton on Trent. The businesses operate in, renewable energy, commercial property, traditional and poultry farming. We are looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator/PA to supply efficient accounts and general admin support in a small but busy team.

Duties will include:

- Purchase and sales ledger
- Payment of supplier invoices
- VAT Returns for 5 companies (monthly and quarterly)
- Bank Reconciliations
- HR (checking timesheets, recording holidays, PAYE, pensions, recruitment, administration etc)
- Monthly cashflow (Excel)
- Recording and paying credit card expenses
- Holiday and sickness cover for colleagues as needed
- Petty cash
- Competent spreadsheet user
- PA & Project admin work to the Partners as needed
- Scanning and electronic filing
- Managing meeting room bookings and providing refreshments
- Reception, phone calls, messages and other routine admin duties
- Relevant accounts experience and qualifications (Minimum AAT level 3 or similar)
- A positive proactive approach to embracing cloud-based software
- An enthusiastic approach and be keen to learn and support the business
- An organised approach and excellent time management skills
- Ability to plan in advance and pre-empt support needed
- Accuracy and keen attention to detail
- Experience of dealing in a largely paperless office
- Problem solving skills
- Capability to work under pressure using their own initiative and manage conflicting priorities seamlessly
- Strong IT skills including skills with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to handle confidential information and be discrete, honest and trustworthy

Full time equivalent salary of £28,000-£36,000 Pro-rata dependent on experience.

This is a busy and varied role in a modern office and will suit someone who takes a pride in their work and is looking to be part of a small, friendly team where their contribution will be really noticed and appreciated. The role is 50/50 accounts/admin so would suit someone from a strong accounts background who would like more variety and has general admin knowledge and skills to be adaptable and versatile. There is a lot to learn but there is an opportunity to really expand this role and take on further tasks and streamline systems to enhance the support already given to the Partners in the business.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
