Welder/fabricator

Opus Vitae are currently recruiting for **Welders/Fabricators** to start employment within a busy manufacturer based in the **Ludlow **area.

**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum - dependent upon experience.
- Weekly Production Bonus of £33 per week
- Shift Allowance £72.24 - paid on rotating shifts

**Working Hours**: Days or Rotating Shift Pattern available

Day Schedule:

- Monday - Thursday 8.00am
- 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm

Rotating Shift Pattern:

- Week 1: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
- Week 2: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm

Any further hours completed past 37 hours is paid at time & a half (x1.5), with overtime available both in the week and on weekends.

**Experience we are looking for**:

- Previous experience in a similar environment essential
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to complete MIG Welding at a proficient standard

**The day-to-day duties will range from the following;**
- Fabricates components by analysing requirements; welding parts.
- Develops welding projects by analysing work orders, prints and completed assembly; calculating requirements, studying metals, determining appropriate welding techniques.
- Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; order supplies and gases.
- Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
- Documents actions by completing records
- Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining suppliers; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs as necessary.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ludlow, Shropshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
