Metal Worker

Responsible to: Metal Workshop Manager
Location: Rupert Bevan Ltd., The Barns, Middleton, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 2DZ

**Job Purpose Summary**:
**Rupert Bevan Ltd **has been designing, making and finishing bespoke furniture, antiqued mirror and specialist finishes for more than twenty years for leading interior designers, architects and private clients all over the world.

We are seeking to recruit a **Welder/Metal Worker **to join our team. The position is a full time, permanent and based near Ludlow in Shropshire within our new workshops - own transport is essential.

**Main Responsibilities**:
The following key duties and tasks are desirable for this role:
1. Tig Welding experience required

2. Ability to work from TEC drawings

3. Knowledge of Lathe Work

4. Milling Work

5. Finishing and Polishing

6. Fabrication

7. Sheet Metal Work

**Dimensions/territory/scope/scale indicators**:
This role would be reporting directly to the Metal Workshop Manager and working alongside the Design and Wood Workshop teams. You would be required to keep your work area a safe, clean, and tidy environment following all health & safety procedures fully.
