**About the role**
A Customer Support Officer is the first point of contact for all customers enquiries and is predominately a telephone-based role dealing with a high volume of inbound calls. These roles help support our customers in their times of need including registering a claim and helping customers to find the right medical professional so they can access the best possible treatment - essentially delivering a service you are proud of. You will be surrounded by a great team enabling you to thrive and really make a difference to others.
Within WPA we have various departments to capture all aspects of our customer’s needs and currently recruiting are;
- Customer Helpdesk - the first point of contact for claim and treatment queries via the telephone, WhatsApp and Livechat helping to guide customers through their claim journey;
- Customer Relations - responsible for administration and support for existing business;
- Major Corporate Division - looking after our Global Brand and Major Enterprise customers, including many of Britain’s largest and most well-known companies.
Our office opening hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 19:00 and Saturdays 09:00 - 12:00 and you could work a variety of shifts within these times. (Evenings and Saturdays are fairly split amongst the team).
**About you**
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer service. You will have, but not a necessity, previous experience of working in a telephone based role, have personal resilience due to the fast paced and sometimes complex nature of the calls that you will take, including discussing personal or sensitive health issues. You will also have confidence, fantastic communication skills and are comfortable working independently but will also thrive as part of a team.
