A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager / Engineering Manager, to join an innovative Oxford University spin-out company. This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Development Manager, looking for a fresh challenge,or a Senior Java Developer / Java Team Lead looking to step up in to a more managerial role
The Engineering Manager / Development Manager will lead a small team of technically excellent Java Engineers, working within an Agile, specifically Scrum environment. Overseeing the day-day running, mentoring, and coaching of a dispersed technical team, theEngineering Manager will also remain technically hands on and pitch in with development when required.

The company have also fullyembraced remote working and the Development Manager will only be required to work on-site for bi-weekly sprint planning.

**What's required of the Development Manager?**
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Strong technical background in Java
- Experience working within an Agile development environment
- Previous experience working within an CI/CD environment
