Administrative Assistant

**Overview**
Local Roofing company rapidly expanding and need an administrative assistant to help me run the office and day to day organisation.
**Duties**
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain and organise office files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and up to date.
- Assist with clerical duties such as typing correspondence, preparing reports, and managing schedules.
- Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
- Support financial record keeping by inputting data into accounting software and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and enhance overall office efficiency.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite is essential.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
- A keen attention to detail is necessary for maintaining accuracy in data entry and documentation.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
