**About this client**:
Sofia (2) is an adorable and smiley little girl who enjoys music and singing, cuddles and lots of one-to-one attention. Sofia has a twin sister and baby brother (4 months). Sofia has mixed quadriplegic cerebral palsy; her movements are limited by her coordinationbut she is currently working on her sitting skills and is doing well. All her medication, food and fluids are given via gastrostomy, but Sofia is now growing confident and can occasionally try little tasters or have her teeth brushed. Sofia has chronic kidneydisease and is visually impaired. This doesn’t stop her from exploring the world around her and she is an absolute delight to be around.
**Overview of role**:
We are seeking at least 2 caring, engaging, and kind Waking Night Carers and also require some support during the daytime. You will be responsible for supporting Sofia with all her needs during the night, providing personal care, following recommended therapytechniques and ensuring she is comfortable. There can be nights when Sofia is very unsettled, you will comfort and cuddle her;. During the night you can sit in the living room and monitor her via a video camera or sit in her room when necessary. You will berequired to work some daytime shifts initially to get familiar with Sofia, her condition and her routine. Shifts available: Monday to Sunday, 7.00 pm - 7.00 am. And weekdays with a negotiable shift pattern. Please confirm your preferred nights when applying(2, 3 or 4 nights a week). Up to £17.00 gross per hour depending on experience.
