**HR Coordinator | Gravesend | Full Time | Permanent | £24,000 DOE**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join our client’s manufacturing organisation in Gravesend, Kent.
Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will be joining an established and very supportive HR team and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for their first dedicated HR role.
The role will be based fully onsite initially and after a successful probation period, there will be the option of working one day from home.
**Role Duties**:
- First point of contact for HR department, covering phone calls and incoming correspondence
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all HR records
- Managing the onboarding and leaver processes
- Deal with reference checking and background checks
- Responsible for managing medical questionnaires and occupational health
- Update HR databases and in time analyse HR related data
- Responsible for the holiday system
- Issue contracts and update any changes to contracts
- Assist with note taking in meetings
- Support the wider HR team with any adhoc HR/administration duties
- Ideally have some previous HR administration experience
- Good systems knowledge, ideally having worked with an HRIS before
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Ability to juggle a busy workload and priorities work accordingly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment
- Hold a keen interest in developing your HR experience
