Smarter Shows is a thriving B2B exhibitions organiser based in Brighton, Sussex. With an ever-growing portfolio spanning numerous industries and multiple geographies, we are always on the lookout for ambitious young talent to join our team and be part ofour ongoing success.

We have a unique opening for a graduate to gain experience in the different facets of what makes a successful exhibition. As Events Assistant you will work across multiple departments, including Marketing and Design, Conference Production and Sales.

From desk research that could find its way onto one of our conference agendas, to coming up with creative ideas for marketing campaigns, to supporting our Sales and Operations teams in delivering the highest quality experience for our exhibitors, this isan amazing opportunity to get hands-on knowledge and understanding what makes a successful B2B event. After 12-18 months in this role, you would then have the opportunity to specialise in one these areas.

This is a varied role, so every day will be different, but here's a flavour of what your workweek would entail:

- Analysing multiple sources of event data across our events
- Desk research to support conference production and product development initiatives
- Liaising with speakers, exhibitors and media partners and helping deliver a great experience for them
- Working with the marketing and design teams in creating and delivering campaign materials

**Requirements**:
Attributes we're looking for:

- Educated to degree level.
- Previous work experience is not necessary, but may be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research abilities and a willingness to grow.
- A positive, open-minded attitude and a growth mindset
