They are currently seeking a support assistant to work with students with speech and communication difficulties, enabling them to become active, independent, empathic learners with strong communication and physical skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist teachers in the delivery of personalised learning plans for students with special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
- Assist with the physical, emotional, and social needs of students, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
- Help prepare and adapt classroom materials to meet the individual needs of students.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students during school activities, outings, and therapy sessions.
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support strategies.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
- A caring and patient nature with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Basic knowledge of SEN practices and classroom management techniques.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Masterclass are a part of the REC and Crown Commercial Service, offering the most valued and trusted service.
