Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and reliable permanent Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy team in Billingshurst.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders. If you're organised, proactive, and enjoy working in a team, we'd love to hear from you

What You'll Be Doing

Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
Receiving goods, checking against purchase orders, and recording discrepancies
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely
Storing and rotating stock correctly using warehouse management system
Conducting stock checks, cycle counts, and assisting with inventory management
Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts
Preparing dispatch documentation and labelling
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Supporting new processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and providing cover for other warehouse functions as requiredWhat We're Looking For

Essential:

Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Previous warehouse experience (minimum 1 year)
Experience of picking and packing operations
Understanding of health and safety requirements in warehouses
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Valid Reach Forklift Licence
Valid Counterbalance Forklift LicenceWorking Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with 1-hour lunch break)
