If you are interested in digging into product profitability, margins, customer trends, loss making products etc and working with operational/ commercial teams to add value, this is the role for you.
As a key strategic partner to the major multiples, this successful and established FMCG business is seeking a Finance Business Partner/ commercial management accountant
You will be mentored by a manager at the top of their game, and within a short period of time will have full exposure to the site management team, to support strategic decision making.
As a part qualified/ qualified accountant, you don't need to be the finished article, but do need a solid management accounts back ground, and an inquisitive and analytical mind.
Key duties
- Preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts and associated analysis
- Partnering with key stakeholders to identify and provide information
- Timely preparation and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts to include P&L, cashflow and balance sheet.
- Production of new product costings and tenders
- Ensuring Capex tracker is maintained and Capex forecasts are accurate
- Uploading gross margin and overhead budgets / periodic forecasts into NAV
- Working with other Finance Business Partners in order to ensure consistency and best practice
- Ensuring balance sheet recs are produced timely and with relevant backup.
- Assisting with annual Audit queries.
