**Broadview** **are recruiting for Residential Support Workers We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them.

Broadview is part of Aspris Children's Services one of the UK’s leading providers of children's homes, schools and colleges for young people with complex needs. A five-bedroom children's home providing care and support for children and young people with a diagnosis of ASD and learning difficulties. Children may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
Within our safe, structured and predictable environment, residents will develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible, so that they are able to enjoy their lives and make real life choices as they reach adulthood.

Experience isn’t essential but there are a few characteristics you will need to be successful in this role:
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support our young people with their daily life routines, which may include supporting them during the education day and other fun social activities.
- Encourage positive behaviours and caring for the well-being of the young person.
- With the support of the wider team of staff within the home and school to ensure the young people reach their full potential.
- Be required to work flexibly and to undertake shift work including early shifts, late shifts and weekends.

- Effective communication skills
- Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
