**Position title**: HR Advisor
**Location**: Manchester area / Cheadle (hybrid working)
**Reports to**: Senior HR Manager
**Contract type**: Permanent, full-time
**Job summary**
As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR Administration requirements that surround the employee lifecycle including recruitment and on-boarding, learning and development, compensation and benefits, liaising with payroll, Employee Relations, HR systems and reporting.
You will be the first point of contact for queries from employees and line managers.
You will work closely with Sr. HR Manager while cooperating internationally with HR colleagues in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
**Key responsibilities**:
- Effective administration of all aspects of the employee lifecycle and maintain employee records, HR system and organisation charts
- Owner of all HR data requests and ensure company HR systems reflect local HR system data to enable group reporting from accurate data
- Running reports from the HR systems, handling and analysing data to help HR team support issues and trends to address with managers
- Coordinate and organise events such as long service awards, training courses, conferences and utilising related processes such as raising Purchase Orders (PO)
- Support the development of new processes, ways of working and supporting documentation, and templates for the HR team and wider business to use
- Provide admin support to meetings, including arranging meetings, setting agendas, sending out documents in advance, take actions and support formal meetings in the capacity of note taker were required
- Handling the company car scheme and administering employee benefits.
- Process HR invoices and monitor HR spend.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Experience of working as a HR Administrator or Coordinator within a fast-paced private sector companies ideally in a matrix organisation
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
- A working knowledge of employment law and associated legislation
- Good command of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
**Preferred**:
- A genuine interest in HR and People agenda of the business and wanting to make a difference
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with challenging status quo and proposing new solutions
- Discretion - manage confidential/ sensitive information
- Well organised and self-motivated
