Marketing Executive

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the marketing department of an award winning FMCG frozen food brand, with a strong presence in the drinks industry too.

The family business is agile, the No1 brand in their category and experiencing strong continual growth. The right person for the role will have a passion for brands and will be responsible for supporting the marketing strategy to continue to build our household brand in the UK and Europe, it is part of a small team and is an opportunity to make a real difference and see ideas come to life.

As Marketing Executive for The Ice Co you will take the lead on a number of projects and responsibilities within the marketing department, reporting into the Head of Marketing with KPI based reports, recommendations and ideas. The role will be creative in terms of content creation, brand development and all digital marketing but the role is also analytical in terms of analysing the results of any activity and making continual improvements. Content and digital activity will be of the highest standard, representative of The Ice Co being experts in the market.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To take the lead on all aspects of digital marketing including content, photography and videography for all platforms including social media and websites.
- To manage the digital media strategy and budget.
- To manage and monitor website performance through content and SEO.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers such as agencies, printers, designers, photographers and videographers.
- To assist with identifying and building relationships and partnerships with those that would work well with the brand including influencers, industry professionals and brands.
- Join the Events Committee and assist with organising company events.
- Copywriting for the website, press and company literature. Manage the company brand guidelines and all marketing materials.
- To play an active role in other areas such as market research, retailer activity, market data, product development and sustainability.
- Ability to create reports, analyse and suggest improvements for all activity undertaken, taking responsibility for the results.
- Assist with the PR and communications strategy.
- Occasional travel to conferences and events. Identify new opportunities to promote our brand and products.
- To be an ambassador for the company, culture and values.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Experienced marketer with 2+ years working in a marketing, brand or equivalent role
- Ideally experience in an FMCG or food business
