We are currently looking to build a dedicated team of Senior Support Workers for a new service of ours in Burnley. This is a new purpose-built development which is a 5 bedded residential property (all self-contained accommodation) for complex individuals with autism and/or learning disabilities including behaviours that challenge. This is a chance to be part of a brand new team who will shape the service from the very beginning and make it a flagship service serving the people of Burnley and surrounding Greater Manchester boroughs.

**Our ideal Senior Support Worker will**:

- To provide support to the residents with complex needs in their everyday lives
- Tasks involved with daily living such as maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Participate and initiate activities in and outside of the home.
- Provide support that will enable the service user to live as independently as possible.
- Use skills, previous experiences and knowledge to respond to challenging situations & behaviours
- Support staff with coaching, mentoring and personal development
- Team management - lead the shift, plan activities and staff rotas.
